Left Lower Lobe Pneumonia

PA and lateral views of the chest show dense opacity in the left lower lobe, consistent with pneumonia. Notice the loss of the left hemidiaphragm ("silhouette sign") and preservation of the left heart border, indicating involement of the left lower lobe and sparing of the lingula of the left upper lobe.
